The General Prologue to the Canterbury Tales: A Workbook Edition - Sample Section
Click on the button below to open a sample chapter from the Workbook. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat on your computer, go to http://www.adobe.com to download a free copy.
It may take a little while to open the file, depending on the speed of your internet connection. It should open automatically. If it does not, you can save it to My Documents and open it from there.
When you have opened the file, go to 'View' in the Adobe toolbar at the top of the page and use the Zoom options to select your viewing preference. When you have examined the Sample Section, use the Back button to return to this page.
You may if you wish print the Sample Section before closing it, to check the quality of a printed version. You can also save the Sample Section if you think you may want to look at it again. (Use either the File > Save As command, or the floppy disc 'Save' icon.)
Please note that the options offered by the Word version (switching comments on and off, changing margins and font size etc) are not available in the Sample Section.
